BlueStar 2026 Color of the Year: Purple Violet
BlueStar
Handcrafted in Pennsylvania since 1880, BlueStar cooking, refrigeration, and ventilation products are for home chefs looking for restaurant-quality results. BlueStar’s 2026 Color of the Year, Purple Violet (RAL #4007), is a bold hue chosen by Evanston, Illinois-based Shumaker Design Associates for its rich, vibrant quality that embodies warmth and togetherness. Selected to reflect a shift toward deeper, earthy-adjacent hues in home design, Purple Violet is recommended to be paired with materials like antique brass and dark woods.

Ego
Abimis
The Ego system is the centerpiece of a kitchen in this historic Sicilian residence punctuated by small openings and exposed wooden beams. Architect Filippo Walcher, together with the homeowner and the Abimis technical team, chose a tailor-made solution from the Ego line, made of hand-crafted mirror stainless steel orbitally polished to a warm, textured hue. One side of the system houses the washing and preparation block with an integrated refrigerated waste bin, while the other side is the cooking area.

Caesarstone ICON
Caesarstone
Caesarstone’s new ICON category of surfaces is inspired by opalescent stones, marble veining, and the reflection of water ripples. ICON is made of approximately 80% recycled materials and is crystalline-free, reducing the risk of fabricators inhaling silica dust, which can lead to serious health issues. The advanced fusion surfaces are available in 19 quartz products as well as in a selection of new Caesarstone ICON designs, making it one of the largest assortments of crystalline silica-free products currently available on the market.
