Best In Show
In this issue, we highlight a few of the “Best in Show” products from this year’s trade events, including the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Orlando, NeoCon in Chicago, and Clerkenwell Design Week in London.

Patin Chair
Andreu World
Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Patin received a Gold Award for Guest Seating and the People’s Choice Award at NeoCon 2026. A continuous solid wood base, inspired by the profile of a sled, defines the architecture of the chair. An upholstered shell, conceived as a folded cushion, appears to float on this frame. Available as both a chair and an armchair, Patin is suited for residential, hospitality, and contract settings.

Hem Screen
Isomi
Winner of a Silver Award in the Acoustics & Privacy category at NeoCon, Hem has a softly rounded silhouette and a translucent, lightweight textile construction that filters light and visibility while bringing privacy and spatial definition to contemporary interiors. Designed by British designer Paul Crofts, this freestanding architectural screen system defines space without interrupting the openness of collaborative workplaces, hospitality settings, and lounge spaces.

Scoop 33 Chair
Woodbender
Woodbender, a steam-bent furniture maker from Cape Town, South Africa, won Best of Clerkenwell and Best Craftsmanship for the Scoop 33 Chair during Clerkenwell Design Week. Woodbender’s manufacturing technique allows a single length of timber to be sculpted into refined, dynamic forms. Designed by Jordan Bailiff, this elegant, steam-bent timber chair is formed through 33 carefully executed bends that provide sculptural support and comfort to sitters.

SoundForm
Arktura
SoundForm won a Gold in Lighting (Sconces) and a Silver in Acoustic Solutions at NeoCon. SoundForm creates a wall that looks custom-made but is an adaptive architectural system built around three sculptural flute profiles: curved, rectangular, and V-shaped. Made from Arktura’s Soft Sound material (100% PET felt with up to 60% recycled content), SoundForm delivers dimensional depth thanks to its optional integrated indirect lighting.

FreePower for Countertop 2
FreePower
FreePower won a Best of KBIS for the third consecutive year, this time a Gold in Game-Changing Innovation for the FreePower for Countertop 2. Mounted into natural or engineered stone, FreePower’s latest generation powers devices faster and more precisely. Users can place multiple devices across the charging zone in any orientation—no precise alignment is required. It is also the first to deliver high power specifically for larger devices like laptops and tablets.

Smart Double Wall Oven with Live Look-in
KitchenAid
Winner of Best in Show at this year’s KBIS is the Smart Double Wall Oven with Live Look-in from KitchenAid. Smart chefs know that every time the oven is opened, heat escapes, creating an uneven cooking experience. This oven lets you check on food in the oven at any time with an Intelligent Cooking Camera that displays on your oven touchscreen or connected mobile device.
