Murrye Bernard, AIA, LEED AP is a North Texas–based architecture writer and licensed architect whose work explores design, practice, and the evolving built environment. She has contributed to leading publications including Architect Magazine, Architectural Record, and Metropolis Magazine, and previously served as managing editor of Contract Magazine. Drawing on her background in practice and editorial leadership, she brings a grounded, insider perspective to stories on design, development, and the profession, with a particular interest in how architecture is shaped by cultural, material, and economic forces.
