Why we love the places we love
Each of these new products takes a novel approach to traditional surfacing materials—from recycled plastic to metal to concrete.
Pour Tile Collection
Bert & May
The Pour tile collection was created in collaboration between British tile maker Bert & May and Henry Holland Studio. Pour features hand-poured encaustic and printed glazed tiles inspired by the Japanese art of nerikomi—the stacking and cutting of colored pieces of clay to form different patterns. The collection for walls, backsplashes, and floors involves hand mixing two pigments together and then pouring them into molds, resulting in a unique pattern every time. It is available in four colors—Rosemary, Mineral Blue, Rust, and Purple Brown—in a range of shapes and sizes.
Carnegie Xoral + Skyfold
Carnegie
Carnegie and Skyfold have collaborated on a high-performance acoustical solution for adaptable spaces in corporate offices, educational institutions, and public venues. Skyfold’s walls, designed for minimal energy consumption and maximum efficiency, complement the sustainability credentials of Carnegie’s Xorel textiles in an array of colors and patterns. Products offered through this partnership reduce embodied carbon, help contribute to meeting new LEED V5 criteria, and come with full Health-Product Related Declaration reports and Environmental Product Declarations.
Concept
Casalgrande Padana
Available in seven shades with natural, shot-blasted, and glossy finishes, Concept reinterprets smooth concrete with a contemporary twist for residential and commercial projects. Made entirely from natural raw materials using a closed-cycle manufacturing process, Concept features cloudy surface effects created by special laying techniques. The surfacing comes in a variety of sizes for walls and floors—both indoors and out—and offers special trims and three engraved decorations.
FreePower for Countertop
Cosentino Group
Wireless power company FreePower has partnered with Cosentino Group to integrate FreePower into Silestone and Dekton engineered stone surfaces for applications including kitchen islands, home offices, and restaurant bar tops. FreePower’s Charging Halo innovation combines edge-to-edge power with interactive lighting that shines through translucent stone to signify the active charging area.
Superfici Venice Collection
Materica
Venetian firm Materica, renowned for its luxurious metallic surfaces, offers four new design concepts with the Superfici Venice Collection. A metallization process, achieved through high-speed fusion and micronization of pure metals (brass to bronze, copper to nickel silver, and aluminum to zinc) interweaves with oxidation treatments, laser cutting, resin applications, and natural pigmentations to create highly durable metallized finishes. The collection can be paired with specially engineered, exterior-grade substrates upon request, allowing custom-designed panels for outdoor terraces, patios, and open spaces.
Growth
The Good Plastic Company
Designed in collaboration with global design firm Gensler, Growth reimagines traditional materials like marble, terrazzo, and beyond while supporting a circular approach to product design. Composed of post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste and enhanced with accents from discarded refrigerators, washing machine enclosures, industrial spools, and consumer electronics, Growth comes in eight patterns that embrace organic textures and biophilic elements. While the product is currently manufactured in Europe, the brand is hoping to start production in the US by the end of 2026.
