Tom Diehl has combined a lifelong involvement in the academy and architectural profession to examine the linked yet distinct attributes of each domain. Issues relating to order, materiality, space, architectural languages and their meaningful integration to design intentions and outcomes have driven explorations in each realm. Current efforts exploring design narrative scales and typologies analyze and evaluate their influence on approaches to modern architectural design.
