Allison is an architect at Lake Flato Architects and specializes in higher education work. She is drawn to public-facing projects that address public interest through architecture and solve present and future problems of human interaction within the built environment. Allison enjoys leveraging technology and research to envision future solutions to today’s problems. Within her work, she explores ways research can inform the design process to minimize environmental impact and optimize human health, with a special focus on mass timber design as a means to address both.
