Lauren Weiss Bricker, PhD, is an architectural historian and retired professor of architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. She was co-founder of the department’s historic preservation concentration and was recently honored with NCPE’s James Marston Fitch Lifetime Achievement Award (2023). As director of the College of Environmental Design Archives she co-curated architecture and landscape exhibitions with students and faculty. Her publications include The Mediterranean House in America (2008), Steel and Shade: The Architecture of Donald Wexler (co-author, 2011), and “Architect O’Neil Ford’s Exploration of the Solar House in Texas,” Journal of the Association for Preservation Technology (2017).
