Armstrong Flooring
Exchange is a low-maintenance luxury vinyl tile solution to help mitigate the spread of infection. Exchange tiles provide scratch, stain, and scuff resistance via a manufacturing process that keeps the tiles looking new despite rigorous disinfection protocols. Soft pastels and rich, saturated tones complement the collection that includes two distinct designs available in 6-in. x 36-in. planks. System Gradient features a subtle ombre effect mimicking the flow of light through space, while Static offers consistent saturation in a variety of neutrals and bright pops of color.

Tilt and Nest are the first Crypton-powered, water-based, coated upholstery fabrics to be produced free of solvents, plasticizers, PFAS, and other undesirables that top environmental red lists. Nest offers a full spectrum of solid hues and coordinates with Tilt’s geometric patterns, which are colored in unpredictable ways to create an array of angles. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, upholstery materials are made of a Sunbrella acrylic and polyester fabric that is ink-resistant, fluid-repellent, bleach-cleanable, Healthier Hospitals compliant, and Greenguard Gold certified.
The Halcyon Collection

The Halcyon Collection includes wellness-inspired privacy solutions made of 100% Trevira CS polyester, as well as TPO and Xorel wall coverings. Halcyon was developed in collaboration with artist and designer Jill Malek to help create welcoming, safe, and restorative spaces. Malek’s delicate artwork was brought to life on a softer medium through Carnegie’s expertise in woven materials. Through the use of organic, biophilic forms, Halcyon’s six patterns — Pastures, Tilled, Grasslands, Eucalyptus, Husk, and Hillside — take notes from hospitality and residential design markets, veering away from institutional aesthetics.

Spacekit is a modular, customizable wall art system inspired by event entertainment design. The self-contained Spacekit framing system contains no-hassle hardware hung with screws for permanent installation or with 3M Command strips for hole-free installation. The system’s art panels are available in 9.8-in. or 19.7-in. frames and can be hung in multiple configurations and layouts to create a wide variety of patterns and looks, allowing designers to pick the colors, finishes, size, and configuration of their art piece. Made from upcycled rice hulls, components of the art panel are cut from a single sheet of 100% tree-free, wood alternative.

Western Specialty Contractors Architectural Sheet Metal Branch 123 in Kansas City, Kansas, recently completed the fabrication and installation of custom-colored aluminum composite metal (ACM) wall panels on the new 240,000-sf Lawrence Memorial Hospital Health West facility in Lawrence, Kansas. Western was hired to fabricate and install over 1,200 custom-designed graphite gray and wood-look finish ACM wall panels and column covers from Citadel Architectural Products on the hospital’s exterior. The architect on the project was Pulse Design Group, and the general contractor was McCownGordon Construction, both based in Kansas City, Missouri.
