Welcome to txamagazine.org — Texas Architect’s new home on the web! We are so happy to have you here. This project has been months in the making and we are thrilled to finally be able to share it with you. With help from Storyware and Pentagram, we have created a new destination for readers to enjoy great Texas Architect content from our magazine as well as our blog.

On the home page, you can now find all of the articles from the most recent issue of the magazine, often with expanded content — not just a selection of preview stories, as was the case in the last online version of the magazine. Mixed in with this content is the latest news from our blog as well as our new series of videos on Texas architecture. All of it is free of charge and open to the public. For the first time in our history, anybody with the interest and inclination will have easy access to the world’s premier review of Texas architecture.

Among the other new features of the site is an archive page with fully searchable editions of every issue of the magazine from 2016. As we go forward, we will also be going backward, adding every issue of TA until reaching our beginnings in 1950. You will also find a much more robust system for comments, so we can play host to dynamic conversations about Texas architecture and the future of the state. Finally, our regularly updated cultural events calendar will keep you informed about interesting happenings in the world of art and architecture.

If you have questions or suggestions related to the new website, or if you would like to tell us about a Texas architecture story that deserves coverage, email our web editor, Alyssa Morris, at Alyssa@texasarchitects.org. We would love to hear from you. Thanks for helping us make this next chapter in Texas Architect’s history a great one.
